What is the correct way to wear a ring with a inscription on the outside of the ring?
My wedding band has the "Cartier" inscription on the face of the band and I am not sure and forgot the ask, which is the correct way to wear the band. With the inscription facing toward me so I can read it when looking at my hand or away from me. I have asked a few people and I have gotten different responses.
I don't think it really matters. Do what feels right to you --- you are the one who has to wear it every day! (And the inscription is after all addressed to you, not to the public. The ring itself does that job already. It says, "Hey! I'm Married!"
I wonder the same thing about signets though.
