San Diego is one of the worlds best vacation destinations. The San Diego Bay is teeming with life and surprises - its near perfect weather making its exploration fun and interesting. You can take a paddle in the moonlight in a kayak, watch fireworks every evening to visit Sea World or seventy miles of beaches lined palm swim, surf or just chill. Here are six activities and things to do in San Diego who should not be missed during your visit.
1. Stroll through the historic Gaslamp Quarter and view the renovated turn-of-the-century Victorian architecture, Home shopping, art galleries and specialty shops. 2. John D. and Adolph Spreckels donated the Spreckels organ, one of the largest outdoor organ in the city of San Diego in 1914 for the Panama Canal-California Exposition. This unique organ contains 4530 pipes with a length varying the size of a pencil to 32 feet and is housed in an ornate vaulted structure of highly embellished gables. Since 1917, San Diego had a civic organist which provides free weekly concerts on Sundays.
3. At dusk, the first Wednesday of each month following the monthly "Sky Tonight" Planetarium Show at the theater space for the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, members of the Association in San Diego Astronomy implemented by large telescopes big fountain in Balboa Park for public display without sky. Explore bowls Tide Point Loma below Cabrillo National Monument when the tide is low and get Up Close and Personal flowery anemones, scampering shore crabs, elusive octopus, sponge fingers Deadman and many other sea creatures free. Located on the west coast of Point Loma, these pools are located in the inter-tidal rocky and offers a window on the ocean ecosystem. San Diego Travel Tip: Ranger walks are available for most high tide and a slide program is shown daily at Cabrillo Park Visitor Center.
6. How not to mention the beach? With over 65 miles of coastline, the best part of San Diego is absolutely free - and all beaches are perfect for trying your hand at surfing or boogie-boarding.
