Help need ideas on how to 'summer-ize' my sapphire blue and amethyst/silver wedding?
I am getting married in July and want to have Blue Sapphire bridesmaid dresses with a silver ribbon around but fear this might be too dark for a summer wedding. Does anyone have any ideas on how to lighten up my wedding. Any ideas on what colour of flowers (other than pink) that would go with this colour combo.
I also like the colour of amethyst/deep purple. Would Sapphire blue, amethyst and silver go. Colours are really not my forte.
I think adding a green colour would really make everything seem more summery, because greenery just adds that "freshness" of summer.
I personally don't think you should worry about it seeming summer vs. dark. You like the colours, and the wedding is in July, so it will feel/be summery no matter what. But if you do feel the need to add another colour, a lighter, brighter green would look really great with sapphire blue.
