Is this a good wedding proposal? and is a Tiffany (etoile) engangement ring my best option?
Im planning on taking my high school sweet heart out to dinner at the drake hotel steak house. I made reservations and they told me i would have the best view overseeing Lake Michigan.
Im telling her that we are meeting an old friend and his significant other there. Now once we're there i am going to pretend i got a call from my buddy saying that they had an emergency and won't be able to make it. At that time i'll tell her "oh well, lets take advantage of this nice view".
While dineing, i plan on calling the waiter over and asking him for a bottle of wine. once the wine arrives, i plan on standing up,move closer to her to serve her a glass. once the glass is poured im going to drop to one knee and propose with a Tiffany ring.
She mentioned she loved the etoile tiffany ring. ofcourse she says this after i bought the ring. should i return the one i got (Ribbon ring), for the one she wants?

Any proposal that comes from the heart is a good proposal. I hope she will appreciate all the effort you're putting into this. As far as the ring, I'll bet she'll love what you got her, but only you can tell how important these things are to her. The husband to be should be the real gem in the relationship. The ring is only dressing.
